Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has launched an investigation into Google for alleged bias against conservative viewpoints during the election period.
In an exclusive FOX Business report, Bailey claimed Google manipulates its search algorithms to push conservative-related content, including information about former President Donald Trump’s campaign, to later pages, making it less visible to users.
He also accuses Google of “waging a war on the Democratic process” and asserts this action interferes with a fair election.
Bailey’s office plans to issue a subpoena to examine Google’s search algorithm practices, particularly regarding the prioritization and ranking of political content.
This investigation joins other recent scrutiny of Google’s practices, as U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, a Kansas Republican, also launched a probe this summer after Google allegedly suppressed search results for news about a failed assassination attempt on Trump. […]
