Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected negotiations on its a nuclear program with the U.S. after President Trump wrote a letter signaling an openness to talks.
“Such negotiations aren’t aimed at solving issues,” Khamenei wrote a series of posts on X. “Their aim is to exert their dominance and impose what they want.”
Trump has said military action is on the table in the absence of a deal.
Khamenei said he could not accept the anticipated terms of a potential deal.”Telling us not to do this, not to meet that person, not to go there, not to produce this, and to limit the range of our missiles to a certain extend,” Khamenei wrote. “How could anyone accept such things?”
