A teen suspect has been charged with murder and human smuggling after allegedly killing a woman during a high-speed pursuit in Texas over the weekend, according to reports.
The fatal incident unfolded at around 8 a.m. on Friday morning in El Paso.
Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers attempted to pull over a suspicious vehicle when the driver began taking evasion action, according to Border Report.
During an ensuing chase, the driver ran a red light and collided with at least three other cars.
A woman in one of the impacted vehicles was rushed to hospital in critical condition, where she succumbed to her injuries.
